Open Design Competition for the Jeonnam Citizen’s Square
Present various and creative space composition plans (drafts) and utilization ideas to create Jeonnam Citizen’s Square, which will become a landmark as well as a daily space for residents of JeollaNamdo.
1. Eligibility
– Both experts in related field (architecture, city, landscape, etc.) and undergraduate (graduate) students majoring in the field from domesetic and abroad may participate.
2. Overview
– Location: 1, Oryong-gil, Samhyang-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do
– Site area: Approx. 51,000㎡
– Total floor area: less then or equal to 5,000㎡
– Zoning district: Planning Management Area, Public Office Building
– Scale: 2 stories or less above the ground (underground available)
– Maximum height: 20m or less (underground facility excluded)
