제6회 라파지홀심 국제공모전
The LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction was created in 2003 to raise awareness of the important role that architecture, engineering, urban planning and the building industry have in achieving a more sustainable future.
The LafargeHolcim Awards competition recognizes innovative projects and future-oriented concepts – and is the most significant global competition for sustainable design. The 6th cycle of the international competition seeks leading projects of professionals as well as bold ideas from the Next Generation that combine sustainable construction solutions with architectural excellence.
The competition runs in two phases. In the regional phase, independent juries evaluate submissions in each of the geographic regions: Europe, North America, Latin America, Middle East Africa, and Asia Pacific. A total of 11 prizes are conferred in each region. In the global phase, the 15 projects that received Awards in the regional phase automatically qualify for the Global Awards. An independent panel of internationally renowned experts allocates Global Awards Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
스위스 기반의 글로벌 건축자재 기업 라파지홀심은 지속가능한 미래를 위해 건축이 나아가야 할 방향을 모색하고자, 3년마다 친환경 건축공모전을 개최하고 있다.
6회를 맞이한 올해도 전문가 부문과 차세대 부문으로 나누어, 혁신적인 아이디어부터 실현 가능한 전문적이고 현실적인 방안들까지, 보다 나은 미래를 위한 다양한 가능성들을 발굴할 예정이다.
공모는 두 단계로 이뤄진다. 1차에서는 유럽, 북미, 남미, 중동 아프리카, 아시아 태평양, 지역별로 심사를 거쳐 수상작을 선정하고, 이 중 15개의 프로젝트를 대상으로 2차 글로벌 심사를 진행해 최종 수상작을 선정하게 된다.
친환경에 대한 고민이 더 이상 선택이 아닌 필수가 된 지금, 제6회 라파지홀심 국제공모전을 통해 그 성찰의 결과물들을 펼쳐 놓아 보자.
Category and Eligibility
(1) Main category: architects, engineers, planners, project owners, builders and construction firms for projects at an advanced stage of design with high probability of execution.
(2) Next Generation category: young professionals and students up to 30 years of age seeks visions and bold idea (date of birth must be later than June 4, 1988)
